Ageless. Ancient and blameless. Stainless. Flawless… Audacious… The God of eternity to eternity.

He has existed since forever… never created. Never outdated. Never intimidated by anyone. He is God.

God, I love that You are God.

Jesus… He is the Alpha and Omega. The Beginning and the End. The Risen One. The brightest Son. Both man and God. Shepherd and Savior. Carpenter and King…

Higher than the stratosphere and older than our yesteryear.

I like older men.
Experienced men.
Glorious men.
Mature men.
Wise men…

“Wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

Wise men…
They know a star when they see one.

Do you?

I glimpsed stars burning in His eyes the first time I saw Him… felt Him… heard Him speak a revelation. I was smitten from the start. Genesis… a work of Art.

Pen in hand you know just how to tell a story. And it only takes you 6 days to finish Your glory. Store it in a scroll. Day 7 the universe marvels beholding You…

“Lift up your eyes and look to the Heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”
Isaiah 40:26

I trust You because You’re eternal and You have nothing to lose. You can’t lose. You prove to me Your love is true and nothing I could do will strip Your hands from holding me. You hold everything. Sovereign effortlessly. You reign in victory… where I am with You endlessly.

Rest My love. The world You made is perfect.

“I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭7:9‬

Fire falls… when You’re His throne room.

Daniel calls the Lord “the Ancient of Days” here in verse 9. This means that He exists before a day existed. God Himself created the day. He created everything. So He existed beforehand. Before anything else came into being.

In Genesis 1:1, the Bible says… “In the beginning, God created…”. Nothing created God. So when the writer of Genesis described the inception of the universe He does not tell us how God came into being beacuse there is no other Creator who made God. God is God. He always existed. He always will exist. Thus, we as His people inherit this essence of immortality forever.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord Almighty, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

The eternal nature of God is what makes is possible to also give us eternal life, after this life on earth. If God were not eternal, how could he give mortal humans eternal life? It makes sense that an eternal God would be exactly that: eternal. Now we are eternal also because of our faith in Jesus.

Daniel also speaks about the physical attributes of the Lord in verse 9 that he sees in this vision: “His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool.” The color of white here as described in his clothes designates purity of the highest substance. His hair further amplifies this picture of a pure God, whose on hair reflects the purity of perfection in the follicles of white. He could have had a color if he chose to… but He does not need to. He is ageless, and the white in the follicles reflects something untainted and timeless.

Daniel sees the eternal God is this vision.

This is who God is.

When you see God, you see God. Not what you envision God would look like. Not what you think He may look like. You see God. All of God.

God is timeless… because love saturates Him.

Love is the best beauty product.

You glow when you are in love.

That is another reason why God never stops glowing…

And we never stop wanting to see more of Him.

God allowed Daniel to see glimpses of Him and many other Heavenly realities and prophecies recorded in the book of Daniel.

Daniel experienced the closeness of God, the timeless King, the ageless God, the highest One who has existed forever… He experienced the Lord before He ever came to earth as a man in the flesh named Jesus. How did He experience this? Because Jesus is “the same yesterday, today and forever…” Hebrews 13:8 says.

God does not change in His essence, His personality, His love, His sovereignty, His way of Kingship, His way of ruling… God is the same forever.

You never have to wonder if you will lose the love of God.

Love is permanent.

Love is irrevocable.

Love is affectionate.

Love is delightful.

Love is just as lovey-dovey and passionate on day 1 trillion as it does on day 1 when He made us… This kind of love is what you desire. And you have it… Jesus is this love… when you believe and receive it… pursue it… seek it… ask for it everyday and every moment…

Live life with God on your mind and you feel His love constantly. 

“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3

Do you trust God?

Enough to wait on Him knowing His love is still as close as ever?

God’s love find the one who anticipates His love all around.

The disciples felt it… when they waited on Him in the Upper Room… asked for His presence to come as they lived life with Jesus as Lord in their hearts and in thier minds everyday.

“Set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense to anyone who asks you for an accounting concerning the hope that is in you.” 1 Peter 3:15

They were ready… ready for Jesus to come back like He said He would… so they encountered Him showing up like He said He would when He sent the Holy Spirit.

Jesus’ love upheld them. 

So they stayed in love with Him in the heights of this zealous love. It’s zealous love after all… not a small love… not a silent love… not a restrained love… not discreet nor modest… it’s public and vivacious… outrageous… courageous… sensational and elaborate. God’s love does not reign in His affection.

Be in zealous love not frugle in love.

Love remains the most powerful force in the universe.

Your expectation of Jesus’ attracts the Spirit of the Lord.

They encountered the throne room of Heaven pouring down to anoint them in the upper room. They loved Jesus with all of their hearts. They were sold out to His mission… so much so that they put their own lives at rist to preach about Him, share of Him, heal in His name, carry His name to the ends of the earth just as He sent them to do (Acts 1:8). They held the words of Jesus in their hearts on that last day they spoke with Him in person after He rose to life from the grave…

Jesus promised He would be with them… His love permanent through every decade of their lives. Loyal to the world He made in every generation under the sky.

“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

God is with you at every age. Every experience. Every phase of life that He birthed you into. He knows you… so well. He sees you… and every part of who you are. I love how You hold Me, Lord… Your hands are strong and sturdy. Your arms are comforting and enveloping of every secret place in the heart beneath and You see it… You know me and I want to know You more and more…

I adore you, My beauty….

God loves to shower you with His kisses… with His love… with His visions for You… with His insights that blow Your mind for He is higher than all we conceive… God’s love upholds you forever.

Come away with Me… He says.

I won’t look back when You take me away with You…

Heaven began
