Lavish love. He gives me lavish love… lavish living… lavish affection… lavish lilies blossoming in the garden He planted Himself. What do you give the King of the universe? Every longing. Every desire.

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:38‬ ‭

Give Him everything. Experience ecstasy.

“I assure you,” Jesus said, “there is no one who has left house, brothers or sisters, mother or father, children, or fields because of Me and the gospel, who will not receive 100 times more, now at this time, houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields, with persecutions, and eternal life in the age to come.” 
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:29-30‬ ‭

In Mark chapter 10, Jesus tells the disciples that blessings follow the ones who follow Him. It’s impossible to fall in love with Jesus and live empty. Loving Jesus attracts miracles and blessings in your life. Because HE is a supernatural God. When you get connected to Him, supernatural things begin to unfurl in your life is tandem. God always has more for you than you would have ever imagined.

Jesus tells the disciples that blessings from God are for “now at this time” and “in the age to come.” This is a clear description of what God’s blessing entails. Being His child guarantees that you are taken care of. However, it does say “persecution” comes along with it, and it does. But the more you overcome, the more you are not shaken, and then you can step into blessings without being overcome at all. Everything only transforms into goodness.

David said “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1 He experienced the abundant life of receiving blessings from God. Not because He sought blessings. But because He sought God Himself. God is the treasure.

When you love God recklessly and passionately, it brings exponential favor into your life.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:13

Desiring God attracts blessings.

When you seek God purely in love, He gives all of His love to you in every way possible. Tangible blessings. Heart and soul blessings. External blessings. Internal blessings. You get it all.

David goes on to say…

“Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live.” Psalm 23:6

David was convinced that faithful love pursued him. And it propelled him straight into God’s house.

What pursues you?

Don’t let anything into your heart unless it’s sent from God.

Jesus says “I assure you” when He goes on to declare that everyone who follow Him will be blessed beyond measure. This is a 100% fact. A reality. A promised tangibility. No one will be left without extravagant blessing when you give everything for Him. God loves you too much to let you follow Him and live lacking. He wants to give you more… He has it… and He never runs out.

God’s trust fund is this: Heaven. Both here on earth and forever in eternity. God has both. Jesus says “I have come to give you life and life in abundace.” John 10:10. Why would he withhold? He won’t. It’s the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy. Not Jesus. Jesus is not poor nor needy. He doesn’t need to take anything from You. He has infinite resources to give you. 

God’s blessings are yours.

You are living in it… the abundance He gave. You are walking in it… the promises paved in the foundations He laid with His bare hands dancing in love with you. Break in the walls and break in the floors of the dwelling He built for you.

God loves you with an extravagant heart, orchestrating ways to bless you… both now and in the life to come.

I love what You build, God. Lavish and saturated with your own blood. Priceless and permeated with Your own Son’s touch.

You are soaking in it… His blessings of abundance. You are gleaming in it… His sunshine of a covenant written for you to claim His love in Heavenly places. 

“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of His household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” 
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:19-20‬ ‭

You are intimately known by God. His people. A member of His own house. When you think about the intimacy of being a part of a home, it gives a beautiful picture of what this verse it talking about. When you live in a home, you have a room. You put your clothes there, your toothbrush, your toiletries, your belongings, your essential things, everything. God says to you that you have a room in His house. His own house! You are always a part of that royal family because He made you a part of it. 

Jesus is the one holding this house together, and giving you access to that room in the house. 

Jesus Christ is the vital and necessary foundation to the house of your heart. Without Him, there is nothing built or enduring that can be built. He must be your first love and the center of your world. Because you want him to be. Love God… He will take care of you.

You are God’s treasured ones… He loves you.

His blessings belong to you.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” James 1:17

Your light sparkles on the earth where the pure vines swivel up the trees and ivy swirls adjacent to them. It reaches for the sunlight…lining the canopy of jungle leaves and butterflies’ entries into the sky.
Rose petals blossom in Your garden. Orchids grow regal in Your land where You pick them for me. Flowers drape the window sill when His love sends the energy. The aura of His majesty. The presence of eternity.

Send Your love, God… we yearn for Your love. 

“Awaken north wind, come, south wind. Blow on My garden, and spread the fragrance of its spices. Let My love come to His garden and eat its choicest fruits.” Song of Solomon 4:15
