Charisma

Halona swirls
Kailua twirls
when you’re sleeping
by the shore

Waimea curls
Manoa whirls
when I’m dreaming
by the door
of His Stairway to Heaven

he unlocks the mountains
awakens the fountains
of oceans astounded
where stars shine
unbounded
to gaze
on the face
who makes
the sun
wave
goodnight

He says
dance with me again
in the moonlight

how do you make
the kisses rain
when your arms
twirl me in flight
how do you make
the oceans break
when your hands
lift me to heights
of a starry midnight

I am the tide
He says
I carry you
with me
wherever I go

I’ll be with you
wherever you go

I miss you
tell the sea
to bring you back to me

I love you
watch and see
I’ll walk the sea
to carry you here with me

love is proven
in the deep ends
of the ocean

my love for you
forever is devoted

I miss you too
My love

I miss your voice
I miss your laugh
I miss your smile
I miss your hands
she’s got charisma
her love is an enigma
I want to untangle

I miss his eyes
I miss his flowers
I miss his touch
I miss his power
he’s got charisma
and he knows how
to walk around the room
when the Spirit moves
wrangle me again
when the henna blooms

I miss you
the way your body
swoons the lagoon
to intensify hues
in a crystalline view
of turquoise enchantment

I miss you
the way your eyes
ignite the fire
to liven the choir
of island delights
of the cosmos divine

it’s got charisma
the way the starlight
twirls for you
imploring you to find
Heaven shining
for you my love

everything is for you my Beloved

I never miss a sunset
and I never miss the rain
I never miss a sunrise
and I never miss the way
the rainbow tastes
in afterglows
of windward rays

it’s got charisma
the light will dance for us
until the seasons change

feel my love
my love for you remains the same

Until the day breaks and the shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of incense. You are altogether beautiful, My love; there is no flaw in you.”
‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭4:6-7‬

“Come away, my love, and be like a gazelle or like a young stag on the spice-laden mountains.”
‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭8:14‬
