Love’s Energy

Your love invigorates me. Like a cherry tree soaking in the vitamin C of the sun. Your love refreshes me. Like a cove in the island breeze swimming in turquoise undone. Your love rekindles me. Believes in me. Inspires me. Enlivens me. Fill me with your love for all eternity…

“Your lips drip sweetness like the honeycomb, My bride. Honey and milk are under your tongue. The fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.” Song of Solomon‬ ‭4:11‬

Love is aromatic.

Kings and queens of love carry the scent. The aura of love.

Inhale love.

Love is your answer. Love is your solution. Love is the potion. The woven words spoken anointing the fusion infusing life’s beauty.

Renew perfection on every inflection of your heart.

Speak love.

“The glory of young men is their strength, and the glory of the old is their gray hair.” Proverbs 20:29

God loves your glory. Love theirs too. Honor theirs too. Esteem theirs too. With the power God gave you. They need you… to show the glory of the Lord… in you.

Love is your remedy. Your tranquility. Your position at ease. Your vibrancy. The loveliest dream turned reality. His love is reality. Let love be their reality.

“God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him.” 1 John‬ ‭4:9‬

When you come to Jesus, you receive His endless love. And love reenergizes you.

The disciples who followed Jesus immediately felt the insurgence of revitalization overtaking their whole being when they left their lives behind to follow Jesus. They left behind the normal rhythm of life that had slipped into weariness and chose adventure with Jesus. Adventure that birthed purpose. Purpose that brought liveliness and rejuvenation to their lives because they discovered the Messiah who made them.

“And I tell you that you are Peter…” Matthew 16:18

Discover the God of the universe and discover all you were made to be.

In Matthew chapter 16, Jesus asks the disciples if they know yet who He really is. Others are talking. Making their own conclusions.

“He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Matthew 16:15

Who do you say that God is?

God wants to know who you think He is. He is interested in your point of view. In the way you see Him. In the way you think of Him. Jesus already knows but He wants to hear it.

Now Peter boldly responds to Jesus, saying…

“Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:16

Peter does not withhold His epiphane of Jesus’ identity. Nor should you. Make Him known. Peter also declares this epiphane with confidence, knowing that Jesus wanted to be known for His identity by His disciples. He often withheld unveiling His identity from the crowds so that He could prolong His ministry without the target on His back from the religious folks, but He wanted those close to Him to see and know Him. And they did. He knew they did. But it was up to them to express it vocally.

Now that Peter confesses Jesus’ identity to Him and the other disciples, Jesus affirms Peter’s identity in front of them all.

“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew 16:18

Affirming God for who He is will open up your eyes to your own identity. Get to know who you are by getting to know Your God. Jesus Christ.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

Jesus is God.

Jesus is Savior.

Jesus is Lover.

Jesus is Provider.

Jesus is everything you ever need and the supplier of everything you ever need to live the abundant life He Himself promised you. Yes, Jesus is the one who promised you the abundant life! He is the One who came on mission to ensure you are fulfilled in that, brimming over, wholly satisfied and completely loved.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10

Jesus carries a priority to give you life. He left Heaven to give you this. You are forever on His mind and every need is known by Him. Every pain is known by Him. Every gift is known by Him. Every element of you is known by Him. Every pathway is known by Him. Ever desire is known by Him. And met by Him. He came to give you life… exceedingly more than all you can ask or imagine.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Jesus is the one true God. The One who loves you.

Do you know who Jesus is?

Say it. Tell it. Publicize it. Don’t hide it. Jesus desires for you to know Him and tell Him you know who He is. He wants to be known by you. Because He loves you.

“But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God.” John 1:12

Once Peter declares Jesus is the Messiah and that he knows it, Jesus tells Peter he is now receiving something very powerful and meaningful. Keys to the Heavens.

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:20

This is supernatural, Heavenly power. Help from the angels. Help from the Holy Spirit. Authority. Reign. And those who declare Jesus as Lord receive the right and honor to reign with Him and work for Him on His behalf.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12

Jesus empowers you with energy to do even more than He did because He wants His will accomplished through you.

We are still here on the earth as Jesus’ living vessels. And He will do incredible miracles through you. Because He wants to save souls through you. But it can only be done when you first understand who Jesus is. Just like Peter said… “You are the Christ.” And you can only first understand who Jesus is if you have a personaly love relationship with Him.  Peter knew who Jesus is beacuse He spent one-on-one time with Him everyday.

Do you spend time with Jesus all one-on-one?

That is the key to the doors of Heaven. Love with your Savior.

Come close to Jesus… He knows how to reenergize you with His love.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Jesus refreshes you.

Jesus affirms you.

Jesus restores you.

Jesus satisfies you.

Jesus invigorates you.

Jesus takes care of you.

Because He loves you… and love reenergizes you.

I belong to my Beloved, and His desire is for me.” Song of Solomon 7:10

You possess the right to be His Beloved. To be His minister. To be His heir. To be His family. This is a celebratory jubilation! A gift so elaborate that it stirs delightful cheer to the inner heart. To belong to God is to belong to love and with love forever and ever. To belong to God is know He understands every part of your human essence, crafted by Him, and to know He will meet every lack with His completion. We can trust Him every day of our lives. And in the waiting… we choose to live! To rejoice! To enjoy the life He has given us to the fullest of joy.

“We can do nothing but leap for joy all day long, for we know who You are and what You do, and You’ve exalted us on high.” ‭‭Psalm 89:16‬

You live lively because of love. ♥️

The apostle Paul understood the vibrancy of love when He ministered across Asia Minor in 1st century antiquity. This was a mission that seemed like it would drain and weigh down an individual, But he was full of joy and happiness in everything he experienced. Because of love. He was gifted in the spiritual realm but he asserts that love was his greatest resource and greatest aim…

“If I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:2‬ ‭

Love is your greatest asset.

Do you want to ascend?

Fly with the greatest substance of all: Love.

“Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:13

I love your love God

because it’s always enough

above the floods

that rush in the rivers

of life’s adventures

discover the glimmers

of Heavenly winters

and summers of joy

where the Lord employs

His story to find you

where you are

to give you love

where you are

I love your love God

because You take me near and afar

my soul bears the marks

of a kiss of Heaven

and I’ll always need

the leaven of its breath

and vibrancy

Your love

gives energy

to my life
