I have a bodyguard. The one whose got King of kings tattooed on His thigh. He knows when to wear black and when to wear white. He knows when to blend in and when to make a scene. He’s perceptive like that. He’s keen and aware like that. If you want to put your hands on me, you’ll have to go through Him first.

“Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:16-17

God is everywhere. When we open our eyes to the unseen realm we find His angel warriors stationed all around in fiery hosts.

Remember God is your deliverer. Remove the expectation for another person to save you. People are not the Savior. We as God’s people possess incredibly powerful and inspiring gifts to change the world around us. We nurture goodness. We illuminate light. But the world will never transform to become pure and good again in totality without the saving hand of Jesus Christ.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:4-5

Humans cannot carry the mantle of redeeming a human life. We need a supernatural God to do that. It’s how we were created.

“And he said, “If the Lord will not help you, how shall I help you? From the threshing floor, or from the winepress?” 2 Kings 6:27

Why are you asking someone else to fight your battles?

Jesus is your one true advocate.

“Many seek the ruler’s favor, but a man receives justice from the LORD.” Proverbs 29:26

Jesus is your protector. Your warrior. Your King. Your advocate. Your eternal redeemer. No devil can touch you. No evil can befall you. Angels are ordered to watch over you. For you are a royal diadem in God’s own hand.

Wear your crown like you know who you are… The King’s Beloved.
