The Life God Wants – Part 2

Part 2

God wants your life. So He can love you. God’s love is the highest fulfillment.

Jesus wants to love you. He wanted to die for you. He chooses to woo you and captivate you.

God wants us to choose Him in love.

In the book of Ruth in the Bible, a woman loses her husband and chooses to go the path that leads to Bethlehem with her mother-in-law. She knew her mother-in-law had a relationship with the one true God and she wanted this God to be her God. So she rejects the offer to go back to Moab even though Moab had a potential future, so it seemed.

“But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.”
‭‭Ruth‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭

Ruth’s sacrifice to choose God instead of seeking to secure her future leads her into a destiny of love and contentment that exceeds all.

No one can tell you what life to live. Only you can decide that. Choosing God carries us into love.

“No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from My Father.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭18‬ ‭

Contentment arises from God’s love. You need nothing else besides supernatural love carrying you forever with holy hands because at every turn He surprises you with His blessings and satisfies your heart with His presence.

Wholeness is found in His love.

Ruth meets Boaz, they fall in love, and she becomes a member of Jesus’ own family ancestry.

You don’t have to wait for your promised land. You are already in it because God’s love is your promised land. And He always leads you where you are meant to be.

God wants us to live a life fully loved by Him.

Love is the greatest treasure.
Jesus will always be in love with you.
