Part 1 

Jesus wants you to know your place with Him, precious ones. Heaven is where you belong. Heaven is the place He is crafting for you.

“But we are citizens of Heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Savior.”  Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬ ‭

Jesus instructs us to take the lowly place because that is where exaltation comes from.

“Instead, take the lowest place at the foot of the table. Then when your host sees you, He will come and say, ‘Friend, we have a better place for you!’ Then you will be honored in front of all the other guests. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭14‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭

God exalts those who take the lowly place.

Jesus shows us what taking the lowly place looks like.

“Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form, He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭8

Jesus left Heaven to come to earth and become like a servant so that He could die for the sins of mankind. Then God highly exalted Him for it. 

“Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in Heaven and on earth and under the earth.” Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭9-10

Royalty serves. Royalty gives. Royalty encourages. Royalty loves. Royalty honors. Royalty saves.

Jesus is royalty and He calls us to be His royal beloveds with Him in Heaven. Jesus’ love is the best love. We want to be with Jesus in His place forever. When you know your place is with Jesus, you understand why you were created… to love Him forever.

Our place is with Jesus.
