Fearless Audacity

chase after His holiness

seek after His love

chase after His goodness

approach Him in His sovereignty

Fearless audacity. Brazen tenacity. Courageous boldness. Jesus asks for you to approach Him this way. He welcomes you to come closer this way. Pursue Him this way. Seek Him this way.

“He sent me for you,” says the angel with fluttering wings.

Her eyes look up from the rose buds flowering in the garden. “What does He want from me?” she inquires.

“Your heart. All of it.”

“I already gave that,” she says. “What more could I give?”

“There’s always more, beloved. He wants to see you,” the angel exclaims. “Trust me.”

“But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him, if you search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Deuteronomy 4:29

“You can’t get close unless you have an invitation. Better ask first,” sounds the man who overhears.

The angel smiles, stands, and raises a sound for all to hear. “You do not need an invitation to seek God. He gives everyone the chance to dwell in His royal Kingdom,” the angel concurs with serenity. “It’s up to you if you want to be His or not. Let Him have your life.”

Without a moment’s notice, she bursts forward. Hesitations fall off in the rivers of grace. Limitations shatter in the dimensions of the supernatural. “I won’t let another moment stand between us,” she thinks.

Chase Him…

Linger in His presence…

Melt in His passionate love…

“I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me diligently find Me.” Proverbs 8:17

“You’re here, My love,” says the Lord with fire in His eyes.

He speaks. The King of glory speaks.

“I’ve been waiting for you,” He says.

Life and all its days will soon pass away, but there is one who never will. Jesus exists forever. He reigns forever. He needs you to forever pursue Him as the first love and abandon everything for Him where He waits for you in the secret place again and again. Your greatest gift will never be the end of your passionate love story. Your most costly extravagance could never be the only pinnacle of your relationship. God wants to soar on the heights with you again and again. Love like you did at first.

“The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.” Deuteronomy 14:2

Bolt! Let your heart spring forward in the supernatural space where the Holy Spirit perceives all the goings-on of earth. There you will see something. Revelations reveal something. Life and Heaven come into focus as the temporal world fades into the background.

Soak in the presence of Jesus, the Lion and the Almighty.

“Tell Me what you say, My Lord.”

“Delight in Me. I will give you the desires of your heart.”

“As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

See Him. Jesus.

Approach Him. Unashamed.

In Matthew 8, a man approaches Jesus with boldness.

“When He had entered Capernaum, a centurion came forward to Him, appealing to him, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.” And He said to him, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” Matthew 8:5-9

Approach Jesus with courage. This delights God.

Approach Jesus with fearlessness. This delights God.

Approach Jesus with boldness. This delights God.

Approach Jesus with unabashed desire. This delights God.

Approach Jesus with shameless need. This delights God.

Approach Jesus with confidence. This delights God.

Jesus responds to the man with delight and tells him that He will heal his servant. Jesus does not turn Him away for coming up to Him without permission. In fact, Jesus does not require permission for anyone to come up to Him. He does not walk around with pride or a bodyguard. He does not keep people away from Him. God sent Jesus for people. Not for Himself. He did it because HE was going to give up His life for people.

Jesus loves it when we come to Him fiercely and boldly.

“And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.” Matthew 8:10-13

There is no fear for the one who approaches Jesus.

There is only Jesus appreciates and venerates great faith, no matter who it is that is demonstrating the faith. This man was not a Jewish man. Yet, Jesus saw his heart through the appearance of what his reputation and job could reveal. Jesus sees through our hearts. Jesus answers us according to what He sees in us.

Jesus saw faith and belief in this man. So, he say yes to his request.

Jesus sees you. Jesus always understands you. This compels our hearts to pour out time pursuing Him in our spiritual lives for cultivating a meaningful relationship with Him.

God wants everyone to be saved.

Do you want everyone to be saved?

If you want to align with Jesus’ heart, then you must see the world how Jesus sees it: worth dying for.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Whoever believes.”

God saves “whoever believes.”

God wants “whoever believes.”

God welcomes “whoever believes.”

Belief prompts our heart to seek Him and know Him. Belief provokes our spirit to hear Him and abide in Him.

“Let heaven and earth praise him,
the seas and everything that moves in them.
35 For God will save Zion
and build up the cities of Judah,
and people shall dwell there and possess it;
36     the offspring of his servants shall inherit it,
and those who love his name shall dwell in it.”

Psalm 69:34-36
