“She’s got her head in the clouds,” they say.

“Which clouds?” sound the onlookers.

“The highest clouds. Like the ones you find in Heaven.”

“Have you been there?” asks the woman in gold.

“I have,” says the one with sparkling eyes. “Many times.”

“I’d like to be in the clouds.”

“Can you handle it?”

“What do you mean?”

“Can you handle the altitude? Going high means you have to change your mindset.”

Things of earth cannot coexist in the heights of Heaven’s peaks. Zion employs a higher threshold of thinking. Heaven provokes an undivided loyalty because its King is worthy. Earth has no more hold on the one who forsakes all to seek the King.

“I want it,” she says.

“Then let go of what is holding you back.”

Can you let go of it?

Feel the invitation of Heaven beckoning you into euphoria. Eternal life rests in the blood of its King, Jesus Christ. Here, there is no recollection of the grief of earth. Only an imminent revelation of the reality of eternity.

“So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” Colossians 3:1

Take your eyes off of earthly goals. Heaven’s objectives satisfy. Heaven’s beauty enhances our eyes to live fully and vibrantly from the perspective of eternity. Eternal life is imminent. We need to be ready for its unfolding.

“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:2

Eyes look to You, above the view of earth’s panorama. Its beautiful… the earth You created. It only lifts my mindset to see You… the One who created it all.

“By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.” Hebrews 11:3

God created the universe from His own hands. He needed no one to give him expertise or advice. He needed no one to draw up a blueprint. He made it Himself. He did it Himself. He is the genius.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Jesus makes you new because of His Spirit in you. You are immortal. You are eternal. You belong to Heaven, and thus, you have the access to keeping your mind set on Heaven at all times. Don’t let earth distract you or discourage you. Don’t let this life limit you from seeing all that is going to unfold for you. You have so much to look forward to in Heaven.

Keep your head in the clouds and you don’t get weighed down by the earth’s conflicts and obstacles. Heaven keeps you uplifted and enthusiastic. Jesus keeps you hopeful and rejoicing at every turn. We need His way of thinking to override the earth’s way of living.

Heaven is a better way of life. Thinking about Jesus and Heaven keeps our mind encouraged everyday. Let His Holy Spirit speak to you so that you are on the frequency of Heaven’s communication. Then, you can hear holy words from God’s throne.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27

Jesus speaks to His people. Open your ears to hear from Him. Jesus may be in Heaven but there is nothing impeding our connection with Him when His Holy Spirit speaks.

Jesus is in Heaven right now and He sent His holy spirit to use after He ascended to Heaven so that we would hear His word. This is imperative to having a relationship with Jesus. We need the Spirit to keep us in tune with Him. When you lift your head to meditate on the truth of His Kingdom, it makes the temporary trials of this life dissipate. Everything is seen by the God of Heaven. He rewards us for what we give for Him and do for Him. He takes care of us in persecution and in obstacles as we surrender our lives to follow Him and the way of Heaven here on earth.

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3

Speak, Jesus. Speak the way You want to. The way people see me takes no priority. The only opinion is Yours. You are the voice of truth. The Word made flesh. The Song of love. The embrace of Heaven. Our hearts long for You, Jesus. Keep our head in Heaven where You are.

is cataclysmic

to the evil of the earth

You overcome

You send the Son

to shed His blood

for hearts undone

to see You lifted high

You are forever lifted high, Jesus

and we lift our eyes

to see you by and by
