Intimate and Unashamed

“Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” Psalm 34:5

Pure love is unrestrained…

Free and passionate…

Confident.

Intimate.

Devoted.

Anchored in the covenant of intimacy created by the God who came to make you His forever. He is your lover…

By the spirit of a holy God we come to life in the lovelight of the One breaking through the spheres of luminescence. Where He dwells beyond the stratospheres of time and space. It’s God’s face that shines upon you when you come closer to Him, as one without any hesitation… waiting for the moment where human life collides with Heaven’s light.

There is freedom in living fully immersed in the caverns of His love.

Be our heartbeat, Jesus… that keeps beating into the world ascending into yours.

Unrestrained and beautifully caught in wonder, He gives you a spirit outside of yourself… to be for Him what you were created to be. A spiritual being. Free in Jesus.

“Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Live by the Spirit…

And you will love unashamed.

God’s people were created to thrive unabashed, freely in love with its lover. Loving Him in the highest of ecstasy.

“Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high,
And the wilderness becomes a fertile field,
And the fertile field is considered as a forest.” Isaiah 32:15

The spirit is unashamed and completely free because it derives its existence from a pure, holy place. Made by a perfect God.

Love is meant to be a place of no shame.

This is God’s intended design for humanity.

His design for you…

Love with God is passionate and unashamed forever.

Purely given from the Lord who formed love’s essence at its genesis. “We love because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

The psalmist says in Psalm 34 that those who look upon Jesus’ face will never be put to shame.

It’s impossible to look upon a perfect, glowing being and come away feeling anything less than elated. Awestruck. Captivated. His glory melts us on the inside. It is the medicine for every crevice to find its water source of love oozing in. From the Holy Spirit who reveals God’s love to us.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36

When Jesus sets you free… and chooses you as His bride… you never feel ashamed of His love. You feel treasured and adored. Proud that He’s yours. Excited to be with Him. Waiting on His every heartbeat to collide with yours. He breathes His Spirit in you and you dazzle for Him… because He made you to… and He wants you to. He loves to see you light up from what He can do.

The Spirit of God in you doesn’t absorb shame. It wasn’t designed to. The spirit is unashamed and completely free. It’s only when sin entered in that Adam and Eve became conscious of their nakedness. But God’s original design was for love to be a safe haven of intimacy. No self-consciousness.

You weren’t meant to be self-conscious of what God designed you to be free in.

Freedom adorns you beautifully.

Freedom empowers you unfettered.

Your confidence is stunning… let it arise!

Embrace the image of God you illuminate.

You forget the self and awaken by the spirit of God… and it feels good… to experience God in the way we were designed to experience Him. He is God. A supernatural, spiritual Being.

We as supernatural beings created by God… connect to Him on the spot. The holy collision where the self is slain and the spirit is awakens. Immortalized. All that was lost rectified by Jesus’ love and sacrifice. You’re freely open before Him. A sacred treasure declassified in love’s omniscience.

Let the self die and you will experience the heights of spiritual ecstasy with God.

“Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?
And who shall stand in his holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to what is false
    and does not swear deceitfully.

He will receive blessing from the Lord
and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Such is the generation of those who seek Him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob.” Psalm 24:3-6

The psalmist acknowledges there rests a gap between unholiness and a holy God. Who can can ascend the hill? Who can stand in the holy place with God? he asks. He’s right. Who can?

You can…

because of Jesus!

That’s the whole point of the gospel!

It’s exactly what He did to have you.

Butchered his body and died… shamefully. To erase yours.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life… the one who awakens His spirit in you to live purely, passionately and freely.

He will always be the one to love you and His love has no shame included. He erases it. It’s His joy to do so… for you are His own.

Why would God punish you for loving Him? He wouldn’t. But someone will… the devil. He seeks to kill, steal and destroy. And He doesn’t want you to flourish in holy love with Jesus. He will try to make you feel like your love is too much. It’s not. He may try to make you feel like it’s shameful, but the Bible says that pure love dwells in the marriage bed.

“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.” Hebrews 13:4

Intimacy thrives in covenant relationship.

The marriage bed is pure between two lovers who have given themselves to the other in self-sacrificial covenant and its theirs to enjoy.

Behold, you are beautiful, my Beloved, truly delightful.
Our couch is green;
     the beams of our house are cedar;
our rafters are pine.” Song of Solomon 1:16-17

The “rafters” in verse 17 speak of the marriage bed. The “couch” is another place of intimacy referenced. Throughout all of Song of Solomon, there are others places referenced where the two lovers share intimacy in places just between them. Because its their right to do so as lovers.

Marriage grants you free reign to enjoy intimacy how God designed the human being to enjoy it.

He brought me to the banqueting house,
and His banner over me was love.” Song of Solomon 2:4

“You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.” Song of Solomon 4:7

God is the author of love.

He’s the author of relational intimacy.

He understands how the heart operates and He wants to satisfy your every longing. In covenant relationship.

It’s His love that strips the self and empowers the Spirit to know Him deeply. He has the access to my heart and is set apart for the fiery passion He deserves.

Nothing less will I give him… my all belongs to Him.

For Jesus, no love will ever be too much. He is deserving of extravagant love and He always will be.

He is our King. And we are His bride.

Married to Him in love.

“On my bed I remember You; I think of You through the watches of the night.” Psalm 63:6

His love is riveting… let Him love you!

Give the Lord access to your heart and unleash the passionate love He deserves. Come and taste the liberating, captivating, all-refreshing love of God…

Eat, friends, drink,
and be drunk with love!” Song of Solomon 5:1

This word “drunk” denotes filling to the point of intoxication. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:18, “Do not be drunk with wine but be filled with the Holy Spirit.” To be intoxicated with love is the essence of what God does to you when you let Him be your lover… the love He’s dying to give you.

He fills deep places of the heart with gratification.

When God gives a good gift, it is exactly that: a good gift.

Enjoy what He gives.

“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” James 1:17

When God gives a good gift, it’s potent. You may start to wonder… is this okay to enjoy? Everything coming from the hands of God is pure and good. A lavish lover loves to give pine nard… and Jesus loves to give to you.

Jesus designed you to love Him freely…

To live freely…

Wholly… purely…

But we do it God’s way, not any other way.

“Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.” 1 Peter 2:16

When you live freely in love with Jesus, you live freely surrendered to Him refining you anytime necessary.

Freedom does not mean doing anything.

It means doing Jesus.

Knowing Jesus.

Living from His empowerment to walk in the path He created for you. Paths that lead to life & not destruction.

God does not delight in evil.
He is not impressed nor pleased.

“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:6

He is not pleased with debauchery.
He is not pleased with darkness.
He is not pleased.

Sin and unwillingness to repent brings disgrace. Do not be deceived.
But if you repent, Jesus is so willing to forgive.

Do you know what God is pleased with?

Repentence.

God is pleased with repentance.

“The sacrifices God desires are a humble spirit–O God, a humble & repentant heart you will not reject.” Psalm 51:17

You live freely in the purest essence when you get to know the most free and uninhibited One you could ever know: the King of all. He is not restrained or limited. No no no… He’s on fire with zealous blazing flames and His love for you is unextinguishable.

1 John 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

When you know you’re fully loved you can bask in it completely… intimately… no hesitancy… because it’s a permanent covenant with the Lord… fully surrendered to Him.

The woman at the well in John chpater 4 walked away dripping from Jesus’ water… she needed nothing more to drink than Him.

He is the water that satisfies.

And He knows how to take care of you.

And He makes you better everyday.

I grow from His passionate love spurring me on.

Discover more of Jesus and you’ll taste satisfaction.

“The LORD shall preserve your going out & your coming in from this time forth, & even forevermore.”
‭‭Psalm 121:8

Turn to Him and lift your gaze to Jesus… have the confidence to believe what Jesus said and receive what He gladly wants to give you!

“But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” Psalm 3:3

Turn to Him and lift your gaze… ♥️

He is our satisfier.

He is our reason to live.

He is our obsession.

He is our purity.

Our lover forever.

Revel in the God who sings over you. The One who envelops the skies and opens Heaven for you… for me… He gave everything necessary for you to feel His love and life with every particle of your being. It’s more than transcendence. It’s intimate knowing of the God who comes close to us.

There’s more God wants to experience with you…❤️

Don’t let anything hold you back from Him.

I’m here Lord

and I’ll always be

waiting on Your every word

Your every move

Your every touch of Heaven’s voice

downpouring

more of our story

in love’s epoch

our passion never dies

for we are

immortalized

forever

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Romans 5:5
