Shining… I’m shining in the lovelight of Your voice singing in the clouds at sunrise. Standing… I’m standing in the paradise of Heaven knocking on the door of my heart where you long to reside… and you have been all my life. I belong to You… destined for You… the Lord of glory… the King of ocean winds and waves… all the earth sashays for You.
I thrive in Your love… firmly planted in Your arms immortal and luminescent. I never have to wonder if the foundation is strong enough to hold me. I never have to test the ground’s PH. You laid it for me with holy earth. Blossoming… Enriching… Our house is built from the work of Your hands. Strong… good… is everything that comes from Your hands. As it was at the genesis of creation when Eden was birthed. We’re dwelling in endless gardens… infinite closeness under the lavender sky.
Who built your house?
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1
The house stands firm when Jesus builds it.
You’re building something
just for me and you
a Kingdom House
where love is proof
His Kingdom found
us to shine the truth
He loves you
and so do I
The house grows vibrant when Jesus is the developer.
The house built for the Kingdom of the Lord rules in goodness and purity.
In Matthew 12 Jesus illuminates this principle. At this point Jesus has just healed a man but the Pharisees doubt His power and authority to do so. So they approach him with scoffing and rebuttal.
“The Pharisees said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that Jesus casts out demons.”
Matthew 12:24
Some people will never acknowledge the Spirit of God is at work.
Yet God, through His Spirit, acknowledges the spirit of evil inside of them. Because He knows their thoughts. He knows their heart that is against Him. And so did Jesus. Jesus perceives their disdain before they ever spoke and so He addresses it head-on without any pause.
“Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them…” verse 25.
Jesus knows your thoughts…
And He speaks accordingly in order to align you with His thoughts. His ways. His voice We have the decision whether we hear Him or not. But His words stand regardless. Jesus answers the Pharisees according to their thoughts, to correct the wrong thinking. Jesus says…
“Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and no city or house divided against itself will stand. And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?”
Matthew 12:25-26
You are either for God or not.
You either have pure motives or impure motives.
You cannot be both.
God always moves in purity and sends His missionaries according to this same virtue. God cannot operate with any king of evil nor does He act according to any kind of evil. But He will move to break apart what needs to be broken apart so that healthiness can enter in. Because He loves us enough to not let us remain in dormancy. He calls us to higher living, where active joy is present and vivacious life is overflowing. So He fights for us to have that even if we don’t know to fight for ourselves. God intervened on your behalf.
Love is the purity warring for His good to be accomplished.
His love is never wrong.
“Above all, love each other deeply for love covers a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8
When you act in love… pure love… birthed from the Spirit of God… you have no room for evil to enter in… love consumes all of the space and love is holy. Peter makes it clear that when you love someone, you actually become a conduit of cleansing for them and for yourself.
You erase sins by loving. Did you know that? Peter says it right here in this verse. It covers sins. Just like Jesus’ love on the cross covered our sins.
Love is the greatest healing agent.
So don’t doubt what God is doing just because it appears different than anything you have seen before.
Doubting God’s power undermines His mission. And it proves illogical when Jesus shines a light on it. Just as he does with the Pharisees in this passage…
“But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you!”
Matthew 12:28
The Kingdom of God is at hand…
Do you see it now?
“Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters.”
Matthew 12:30
If you choose to remain neutral in the next steps of your life, you disqualify yourself from partnering with Jesus to minister for him. Don’t do that. Ask Jesus how you can partner with Him in the next stages of your life… and let Him lead you. Don’t lead yourself and don’t let anyone else lead you before you let Jesus lead you. Listen to His voice and He will direct your steps. God loves to move… but He will only move through those who make themselves available to God for this indwelling and action.
Be careful when you start speaking against a move of God.
“And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”
Matthew 12:32
Don’t spend time explaining yourself to someone who is set on misunderstanding you.
Go and minister! Complete the mission.
There are always going to be people blinded to the power of God right in front of them. Especially when it’s not related to them but they are an observer of the situation and don’t have an explicit benefit to what is going on. Be cautious with people who try to give you advice on a situation they are not involved in, but try to become involved in. God is not doing the miracle for them, He is doing it for you… and what He does for you is for you. What God has for you is for you.
God’s miracles were prestamped with your name on it and destined to reach you.
What someone else thinks about it makes no difference.
You keep letting God do what He wants to do for you.
Jesus ministered in a way that brought much persecution from outsiders and even insiders. Sometimes the person closest to you can be the biggest hindrance to God moving in your life. Because they assume they have special privelege to speaking into your life. But they don’t. Only God has the final say. And HE can use anyone He wants to in order to love you. Don’t let people close to you speak words of doubt, confusion, ruin or tell you that something cannot happen just because they don’t see it.
“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” Proverbs 29:25
Others’ unbelief is toxic and you need to purge that out and forget what they said.
“But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29
I love this confidence from Peter, the one who denied Jesus when the rooster crowed 3 times. Now, He knows how to be loyal to Jesus unto the end. Because he felt the heartbreak of acting as if he didn’t love Jesus to the people around him at the eve of crucifixion. Now he is sold-out, and committed to Jesus Christ no matter what. And He will NOT STOP advocating for Jesus as His loyal follower. He chooses to obey God rather than men, which means a lot of persecution comes his way. Because the laws forbid preaching in many areas and the governing officials would lash out with punishment towards them. But they kept charging forward because they were called by God.
When you are called by God… nothing stops you from doing what He spoke to you to do.
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
Stop letting the people around you tell you how to handle the situation… It’s not their situation. It’s yours… It’s your blessing. And they will not understand it and they will try to take it from you if they can. Take charge and close your ears to their scoffing.
“Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear not the reproach of man, nor be dismayed at their revilings.” Isaiah 51:7
They reviled Jesus too. Jesus had to tell Peter “Get behind me Satan!” when he tried to tell Jesus that he wasn’t suppossed to die. God’s ways will fly in the face of man. Be bold enough to allow God to do what HE wants to do for you regardless.
God approves of you…
God wants to bless you…
God doesn’t care what it looks like, He cares about loving your heart…
You don’t need anyone’s approval but God’s.
“When you have Christ, you are complete. He is the head over all leaders and powers.” Colossians 2:10
Let Jesus’ leadership be your example of leadership. Be the leader and silence the noise of those who speak without full knowledge of what is going on. Only you and God know, and you cannot allow anyone to infiltrate that and inhibit you from proceeding forward.
When God unleashes a beautiful and powerful display of His love, others will try to thwart it. Don’t let them. Don’t let them tell you how it should be. “For they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.” as John 12:43 says. They want you to be respected in the eyes of man more than affirmed in the eyes of God. Are you going to let them steal your blessing to keep up their own image and yours? If people are more concerned with your image than they are with you getting to enjoy God’s blessing to you then they are not for you… they are for the culture you are in. They are for appearances. And you don’t want someone who advocates more for the culture and it’s expectations than they do for you.
God will shatter the cultural norms when He blesses you.
God will give you someting that seems outlandish to others in order to showcase the beautiful glory of His Kingdom as being higher.
God’s ways are the norm, not ours.
Let God’s Kingdom come in your life…
“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10
The way that I love so strongly is by choosing to trust God relentlessly and loyally.
I listen to God’s voice alone in deciding how to go forward. And as I listen to God’s voice alone… He leads me to love those around me even more. He shows me how to love radically in a way that others will try to tell me not to. But they cannot tell me not to. Because it’s not their voice I follow, I follow God’s. So everyone benefits when I follow Jesus first, because they get to become the recipient of my love in greater measure… since I didn’t tone it down to please the crowd demanding I relent from loving.
“I am my Beloved’s, and My Beloved is mine.” Song of Solomon 2:16
Keep loving!!!❤️
I will not give up on my calling no matter what someone else perceves or thinks.
I will not stop loving… no matter what someone else says about it.
It’s time to get bold!
It’s time to get fearless and courageous!
Like Esther who went before the King unsummoned… she saved a whole race of people! You will save a soul when you love even in the face of death. When you love even in the wake of others’ scoffing. When you love without shame and without restraint.
This is how the Kingdom of God is built…
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20
Love ignites the power of God to see His Kingdom reign.
It’s time to act on the love God is bestowing…
Love the one God sent you to love… Regardless of how it’s perceived to outsiders. You have to come to a point in your life where you don’t care what others think because you realize their opinion is less than the highest opinion: God’s opinion And His opinion is the only Word that carries weight. He is the only Savior. The only Deliverer. So we must wait on Him minute by minute and take action on every prompting He gives us throughout each day. It’s the Lord’s wisdom that guides us.
“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” Proverbs 24:3-4
Do everything for the Kingdom of God and He produces the fruit. Then the impact lasts eternally.
Jesus said, “ I am the Vine and you are the branches. Get your life from Me. Then I will live in you and you will give much fruit. You can do nothing without Me.” John 15:5 What God caused to happen for us was from the tree of life producing fruit of love in our hearts where it needed to blossom. It was inevitable love would grow… because we are connected to the Vine in a way many are not. When you stay connected to Jesus you receive extravagant blessing from Him.
“When you give much fruit, My Father is honored. This shows you are My followers. I have loved you just as My Father has loved Me. Stay in My love.” John 15:8-9
The fruit of His love manifests in your heart.
Stay in love…
God gave you love… so revel in it.
Your house stands strong when you thrive from the place of feeling loved by God. It’s who we love and how we love that anchors us. It’s what He imparts to us from His Holy Spirit that takes up residence in our lives here and now… and I yield to it. Jesus let Your Kingdom come in our house. Let Your will be done in our lives regardless of who’s around us. Your plan takes priority. Let Your love unfurl even more.
The Kingdom of God is here…
His Kingdom of love is being made known through us.
Let Your wisdom build the house, Lord… where I’m standing in Your luscious meadows, fragrant with lilacs and pomegranates from Your inception. To know You is our reward. To love You our highest treasure.
I taste your love
when I close my eyes
I see you
in the sunrise
the moonlight
the high tide
I feel you
when I close my eyes
and all my life
is in the light
of Heaven
see my eyes
again
don’t forget
what God envisioned
when He let Heaven come to earth
at Autumn’s daylight
glorious
His Kingdom came
when love embraced us
“Build houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat their produce.”
Jeremiah 29:5
