Written in blood. His love is written in blood so it will never fade away or lose its intensity. It’s immutable. Unchangeable. Irrevocable. Irreversible. His love stands forever.
“I will declare Your love stands firm forever, that You have established Your faithfulness in Heaven itself.” Psalm 89:2
Heaven’s love is perfect love.
God says… I give you My perfect love.
Passion is the byproduct of love’s gift overflowing from the heart of God.
Your heart is where your passion lives.
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Ezekiel 36:26
Love flows from your heart.
In Ezekiel 36, God speaks through the prophet Ezekiel to the house of Israel.
God says that He will redeem Israel and restore them “because of His holy name” in Ezekiel 36:22, since they have profaned among the nations. In other words, Israel has disrespected God’s holiness. But God will still restore them and be their God because that is what He said He would do. God is faithful to His Word. Thus, He must give them a new heart in order to enact this redemption and make them become different. So God says to Israel through Ezekiel that He is going to give them a “new heart.”
You must have a new heart in order to be redeemed.
We need a new heart in order to follow God, love God, know God, see God, feel God, encounter God. The heart is your access point into interacting with the Lord. Your heart is the gateway leading you to Him. Your heart is what you need to transform.
When Jesus awakens our hearts, we experience love at higher thresholds. Deeper levels. Supernaturally. Because we have a heart that can endure every emotion, every pain, and every passion. We have a spirit that connects at a deeper level.
God wants you to experience love by the spirit He gave to your heart.
Your spirit sustains your love and fuels your zest for all eternity.
“But it is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.” Job 33:8
Understanding in the spiritual sense is much more than understanding. It’s about having spiritual discernment to see into the unseen dimensions of the people around you, your own heart, and your surroundings. God grants you spiritual discernment from the Holy Spirit. This is a beautiful gift because it gives you the ability to know others deeply and know your own heart deeply because God gives you insight. God wants you to know more than what you can see. This comes from the spirit which is granted by salvation in Jesus Christ and the baptist of the Holy Spirit.
“John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” Luke 3:16
Keywords here are: “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”
Jesus comes to anoint you with the Holy Spirit, which is the other aspect to His own identity as God. It’s the literal spirit whereby we interact with Him through our spirit. He does this by fire. The fire of passion. The fire of power. The fire of authority. The fire of dominion. The fire of love. God loves fire because it represents holy zeal.
God’s holy and zealous love for you is the foundation of His entire connection with you. He loves you… He really really loves you and this love can never be taken from you ever. God’s love is eternal. Irrevocable.
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39
What kind of love lasts forever?
The love of one who is immortal.
Imperishable.
Eternal.
“I will maintain My love to him forever, and My covenant with him will never fail.” Psalm 89:28
Jesus is our infinite King. Because of the blood of His love warring for us, we are His infinite Beloved.
“The Lord will march forth like a mighty hero; He will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout His battle cry and crush all His enemies.”
Isaiah 42:13
God has a fiery heart that He likes to flex for His Beloved.
Jesus rages for you. For your soul. For your heart. For your love. He wants your love.
Jesus overcomes every obstacle that stands between you and His love.
Now your name is in His book.
His eternal book.
“He who overcomes will be dressed in white clothes, and I will never erase his name from the book of life but will acknowledge his name before My Father and before His angels.” Revelation 3:5
Love can never be erased.
Love overcomes every battle. Passionate love burns for eternity.
