Hallelujah sounds the soul liberated by Jesus. Praise the King sings the spirit set free by the holy One. He is the author of weightless living, where your soul lives high above the earth it dwells. He is the creator unencumbered, peaceful existence, where your heart awaits with expectation of Jesus’ return. It is reasonable to embrace the freedom of Jesus. It is purposeful to accept the freedom of His Kingdom. Jesus is freedom.
God liberated you, so live revived and unrestrained.
Dance in freedom. Run in freedom. Fly in freedom. Hope in freedom for the all of time. For all time, Jesus’ freedom will reign.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
Jesus did not come to enslave you, He came to set you free into the life earth knows not of. The world cannot define it and they cannot express it. You define it. You reveal it. You highlight the freedom of the One true God who came to set you free from death into eternal life.
Eternal life shines as ultimate freedom.
You can live without any limitations on your heart, mind, choices, locale, friendships, expressions, words and feelings for everything will be pure and Heavenly just as Jesus intended when He sacrificed His life to give us His.
Freedom is God’s gift to the One who chooses Jesus.
You can live a life of freedom with Jesus Christ as your Lord.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1
Jesus came for you to save you from anything and everything this world may use to limit your freedom. Nothing and no one can take away your freedom in Christ. For it dwells inside of you and makes you resilient against every threat to your freedom. Jesus knows how to protect what belongs to Him. You belong to Jesus. He shields you and lifts you over every obstacle.
Heartache is a broken spirit. Jesus wants to heal you with a restored spirit.
Oppression is a broken spirit. Jesus wants to heal you with an empowered spirit.
Depression is a foreboding spirit. Jesus wants to heal you with a vivacious spirit.
Jesus says when He shows up, He heals every spirit that would crush yours and He gives freedom! He does not oppress and He does not limit. He does not kill and He does not threaten. He invites and He unleashes you. This is the power of Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins, that the old covenant is done away with and now the new covenant is here by grace through faith, so that nobody can boast as Ephesians 2:8-9 says. For this salvation “is a gift of God.”
God loves to give gifts to His children. He is a good God who has good plans for us and He is not stingy nor light on the generosity. His salvation is a lavish salvation, giving us full access to Him and eternal citizenship in Heaven where He says we don’t just get to live but we get to reign with Him in power.
God delights to set us free to be who we are.
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:13-16
It’s freedom to not have to live by your fleshly desires.
It’s freedom to not have to quarrel with others.
It’s freedom to love your neighbor as yourself.
It’s freedom to serve one another humbly.
It’s freedom to walk by the Spirit.
Jesus’ freedom is true freedom. Fully set free from every other burden of life where your spirit carries the capacity to life at a higher threshold.
freedom
unfetters my heart
from the tethers
of feathers who don’t own my heart
freedom
unbinds my soul
from the lions
of rivals that don’t win my wars
Jesus wins my war
Jesus wins your war
Jesus gives us the freedom
to live now restored
with unencumbered
holy hope
Jesus Your love
is our greatest reward
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
2 Corinthians 3:17
