His lover lingers after the rain. His love lingers after the kiss. His love lingers after the fountains of fluorescent water spark up in the sun. I feel Him on my skin, seeping deep into my pores. Fragrant lilacs. Potent oak with hints of lavender.

God’s love lingers after the hurricane rushing over us. Peach peonies swirl with haste in ferocious wings of Heaven’s glory. Golden sunflowers bolt up from the ground, uprooted, emancipated from its garden to soar where Heaven’s oasis abounds.

“But as for me, the nearness of God is my good; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, That I may tell of all Your works.” Psalm 73:28

God wants His love to linger.

God wants His love to last forever.

Feel Jesus every second. Every hour. Churn the natural to detonate the supernatural.

“Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” Ezekiel 37:9

The winds of God resurrect the dead.

In every direction, He comes.

“The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Job 33:4

His breath awakens me. His mouth revives me. Infuse us, Jesus, with Your holy oxygen where Heaven-sent covenants testify of the firmaments of higher essence. Your love is Heaven.

“You have said, “Seek My face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.” Psalm 27:4

Jesus wants us to seek Him continually, perpetually, consistently needing His presence moment by moment. Jesus’ presence is the present gifting us with love from above to shower on our beloved. His love rejuvenates us, inspires us, and leads us into deeper fellowship with Him.

The disciples invested in deeper fellowship with Jesus when the abandoned everything to follow Him wherever He went. The stakes were high but the love was strong. Jesus was worth it and they knew it. They wanted it. His love met them like a divine miracle of holy orchestration. His love lingered from that moment on. How could they not walk with Him everywhere He went? They needed to be with Him everywhere He dawned upon the earth.

“Passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” And immediately they left their nets and followed Him. ” Mark 1:16-18

Jesus came with a message to send of love and grace. Anyone willing to open the message and receive it would inherit eternal life.

“Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:14-15

The time was ready for Jesus to begin wooing souls to Him. He knew His time. He knew His mission. When you know the time for your harvest, you proclaim it with boldness. Wait on the Spirit of God to lead you as He reveals the right moment for His power to be released.

Jesus’ words always bring others closer to Him. His gospel of salvation to anyone who desires His love is our redemption.

The gospel message saves soul.

The gospel message lingers in our hearts forever.

The gospel metamorphosizes our lives to higher love and deeper encounters of Him where His presence emanates.

We love Your presence, Jesus. Take us deeper into the arms of love where Your holy throne roars with flashes of lightning. You surround us with indomitable love, guarding our spirits for You as we bask in Your wonder. You make all things new just like You love to do because You want to make beauty from ashes.

Sit in His presence, right beside Him, and feel the power of His heartbeat’s adoration. Dance in His footsteps as He spins you into the enchantment of elated infinity. Fly into His soul where He merges with you Spirit to Spirit, connecting you for eternity like the sun in the galaxies up high.
