The Truth of Love

Love wants to see you excel. Love seeks to celebrate your success. It does not watch for you to fail. It does not hope you lose. It does not wish for you to plummet. Love knows your potential and rallies you on to ascension like the beauty of Heaven where God’s blueprint of your story exists.

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭

Love delights to bear with you. Peaceful serenity is in its substance. Kindness is in its essence.

“It does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭6‬ ‭

Jesus covers you.

Love covers its lover.

Love does not pave your path with eggshells nor place burdens on your back. Jesus lifts burdens off your back and so do the ones who love you.

“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way you fulfill the law of Christ.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭2‬ ‭

Love cheers you on as you run your race for the Lord. Love sees the sacrifices no one else sees. Love knows your heart deep down and affirms the beauty of God’s reflection in you.

Love delights in the truth of your goodness. Love broadcasts the truth of your purity. Love cherishes the truth of your heart after God.

Love never wants you to fall.

The only thing love wants to hit the floor is our knees as we ascend the heights of Heaven to seek God’s presence together.

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬ ‭

God knows your heart and sees it too.

Thank you, Jesus, for your love.

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬ ‭

Love is the driver of our hearts before the Lord. Everything we do and say comes from what we love. Love is the inspiration. Love is the breath inside our lungs leaving us speechless in the eyes of the one who finds us. Love lingers in the heart and soul because the Holy Spirit intertwines with us.

Holy Spirit, pour out your love on us that we would behold Your glory.

John rejoiced in the truth of love spoken over Him in John 21 as he restored his disciple Peter.

“After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.” “Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.” John 21:15

Jesus already knew Peter loved him, but he wanted Peter to say it.

Love makes it clear that its lover is the truly its lover.

Love never stops affirming love. Love never stops saying I love you. Love never stops pursing you. Love never stops chasing after you. Love never stops craving you.

Peter grew from affirming love. He understood that leading for Jesus meant speaking up for Jesus. Courage and bravery starts with what we declare. Then our declarations make room for our actions to manifest as a result.

Declare your love for Jesus everywhere you go and watch boldness rise in you for His Kingdom work.

Jesus wants to hear you say you love Him because He is passionately in love with you. He wants to be adored just as He adores you. He wants you to be smitten with Him just as He is with you. Jesus craves mutual, affectionate love. He craves genuine friendship and closeness. He craves passionate zeal and determination to see His Kingdom come to earth as it is in Heaven.

Jesus wants our love.
